Our Strength
Globe Steels (P) Ltd, is a leading medium scale industry engagged in manufacture of cold drawn, centerless peeled and centerless ground bars since 1982. The three promoters of this comapany have vide experience in the steel trade and they are still actively involved in the day to day business of the comapany. Their next generation(son's) all very well qualified and are also actively involved in manufacturing quality and marketing. We manufacturer of mild steel, carbon steel, free cutting steel, alloy steel and stainless steel. We are equiped with most mordern machineries from Germany which are high productive and capable of maintaining close tollerances. We have a team of young, qualified and exprenced technical personnels who are capable of manufacturing bright bars to international quality standards.
Infrastructure
We have 17000 sq meters of covered shop floor area equipped with overhead EOT cranes for material movment. We have also have inhouse weigh bridge of 60 tons capacity. We are equipped with Combined drawing line (EJP Germany), Cold draw bench (Taiwan), Wire drawing machines, Round bar and sectional staightening machines, Centerless grinding machines (Cincinati) and a tool room for maintanance.
Capacity
We are currently manufacturing 12000 tons per annum for domestic automotive, engineering, electrical and agricultural and farm equipment manufacturers. We have a production capacity of 24000 tons per annum. with a strong workforce of 80 people.
Quality
We are also equipped with mettulurgical lab for chemical analysis, mechanical properties, macro,micro, magnetic particle and Ultra Sonic test equipments. We can maintain h8 and h9 tollerance and lobbying within 10 microns for drawn bars and within 20 microns for peeled and ground bars.
Sales Promotions
We are looking for bright bar exports to fill our remaining capacity avaialable we are interested to appoint dealers, stockist, distributors for these prodcuts and we are also looking for commission agents who can book orders for bright steel bars from reputed OEM's and Tire 1 ad Tire 2 customers.
Forward and Backward integration
The same promoters have ventured into manufacture of automotive components in the year 1996 with latest CNC machines and other support machines such as Gear hobbing, Gear shapping, keyway milling, Thread, Serration, Splain rolling, Brouching, Automatic circular sawing, Centerless and Cylindrical grinding machines. As far as the backward integration is concern the company is in the process of setting up a hardening and tempering facility (Sealed Quench Furnace) for case carburising and through hardnening proceses. The said facility will be in operation from April 2014. We are also in the process of setting up a heat treatment facility for 6 meters bar to Anneal, Normalise and Spherodised Annealing proceses.
The Group total business is to the tune USD 2 million.
Joint Venture
We are also considering to associate with large steel manufacturers in Europe/CIS Countries for import of different steel grades and manufacture them to bright bars for ultimate supplies to Indian automotive OEMs and their respective Tire 1 and Tire 2 suppliers. The supplies can either be made by us or the proposed joint venture companies.
